These Team USA Olympians Are Obsessed With Their Pets

You have to be extremely talented and successful to compete as part of Team USA, but there’s no doubt about the fact that these Olympians are at the top of their game. They are some of the biggest and best names in winter sports, and they spend most of their lives preparing for their next competition. That doesn’t mean that they don’t have time for anything else, though. In fact, these Team USA Olympians are totally obsessed with their pets – and we don’t blame them.

Tucker West

Tucker West proved to everyone that he was a force to be reckoned with at the Sochi Olympics, and this luge legend is a huge name in winter sports. It seems as though his adorable English Mastiff is also a huge name because Tucker and his family welcomed him into their home after the Olympian qualified for Team USA. To commemorate the occasion, they decided to call him Sochi. How cute is that?

Mikaela Shiffrin

Mikaela Shiffrin may be one of the biggest names within the winter sports circuit, but it seems as though she loves nothing more than heading home after a long training session and hanging out with her cat, Muffin. This kitty is an 11-year-old tabby cat who seems to love eating and sleeping, and that’s just what Mikaela needs when she wants a break from the intensity of her training.

Jessica Kooreman

As a speed skater, it’s fair to say that Jessica Kooreman has a lot of energy that she needs to burn, and it seems as though she’s constantly on the go. Thankfully, her Jack Russell Terrier is more than happy to burn his own energy as he runs alongside her on a daily basis. Hurley Bean is one of the cutest animals out there, and we’re pretty sure that Jessica would agree with us. After all, she’s obsessed with him.

Chris Mazdzer

Chris Mazdzer is another luge legend, and it seems as though he’s another member of Team USA who just can’t get enough of his dog. Obi is his family’s golden retriever, and Chris has noted that he’s his favorite member of the family. While he often goes weeks without seeing his canine companion, it’s safe to say that the love he has for his pooch never goes away. They just love to go on walks together.

Monique Lamoureux-Morando

As an ice hockey superstar, Monique spends a huge amount of her time practicing her craft, but she always makes time for her basset hound. Monique shares Millie with her husband, and she has confessed that she is like their very own child. She’s even said that she couldn’t imagine their lives without Millie in it, and that’s just too adorable. She looks like a great pooch.

If you’re obsessed with your pet, you’ll probably understand how easy it is for these Team USA competitors to be obsessed with their pets as well. It’s just impossible not to be. They’re just too cute and perfect in every way. We love our animals.
