Three Steps To Success?
There are three steps to the F-Factor Diet, with the first intent on kickstarting your weight loss journey. People are instructed to swap the refined carbs from their diet for fiber-rich alternatives. Step one requires people to consume no more than 35g of carbs for two weeks before the next step.
Step two encourages people to increase the number of carbohydrates they eat throughout the day to 75 grams. Phase three adds even more fiber-rich carbs to your diet, capped at 125 grams. The goal of step three is to maintain the weight that the dieter has achieved.
Critics Of The F-Factor Diet
To go alongside the diet, the F-Factor Diet sells its own fiber and protein bars. However, some people began to complain about feeling unwell when eating F-Factor Diet foods. Symptoms included gastric distress and full-body rashes.
It was also discovered that there was an unusually high level of lead in some of the food products, although it did comply with food regulations. An increase in lead in your diet can lead to fertility issues, birth defects, and cancer.
Others argue that the F-Factor Diet encourages people to have an unhealthy relationship with food, where they focus too much on counting calories. There is another issue with the diet.
It is designed to make you feel full, but you won’t necessarily be full. Like many diets that focus on one particular food group, you can miss many vital nutrients from the foods that you are ignoring.
